Hiking in Los Olivos - Grass Mountain & Zaca Peak

Sunrise hike up Grass Mountain outside Los Olivos. Grass Mountain is very distictive on the skyline around Los Olivos with its SW facing slope covered with short grass. There are free permits for the hike in the register box at the trailhead, provided by Midland School, whose property you need to pass through on the way to Los Padres National Forest. Steep hike up Grass Mountain. After Grass Mountain, I headed for Zaca Ridge and then Zaca Peak.
