Bertha Peak

Bertha Peak

7.3 mile round trip hike near Big Bear. While my daughter and her friend were snowboarding, we decided to hit this worthy HPS peak. Not much snow on the south side of the lake but plenty across the way (good for my daughter.) It was brisk but no wind so was enjoyable to hike. The views kept getting better as we hiked higher. There is a peak registry at the top chained to a fence. The views alone of Big Bear Lake and San Gorgonio make this trek worth it.
