Butterbredt Peak in the Mojave Desert

A 2.4 mile round trip hike to Butterbredt Peak in the NW corner of the Mojave Desert. Best done in the fall/winter/spring, but if you want to climb it in the summer like we did, go early and enjoy...  From the trailhead at Hoffman Summit head west and then ascend the ridge to the northeast, staying to the right (southeast) of rocky outcrops up to the summit.
