Deer Mountain

Hiking Around Mammoth Lakes, CA

Take the standard easy .5-mile trail up to Inyo Craters, which is an easy family hike.  Then look east to the high point which is Deer Mountain.  The top is crumbly rock so I would not advise it as a family hike.  Great views of Mammoth Mountain from the top.
