Fairview Mountain

Hiking Fairview Mountain from Lake Louise

A 5.7 mile round trip hike from the canoe launch at Lake Louise - 3,316 ft. of elevation gain - we left pre-dawn to catch sunrise on the Plain of Six Glaciers - spectacular views- when you get to Saddleback Pass continue on the trail until you get to the sign that designates the Pass, and then turn right and head up to Fairview Summit.  We went for sunrise and felt more comfortable carrying Bear Mace.
