Fort Royal Castle

Hiking in Croatia

The island of Lokrum is just a short, 10-minute, boat ride from the harbor area at Dubrovnik.  Fort Royal Castle sits atop a hill overlooking the sea.  There are trails from the boat dock to the Fort, passing wild peacocks along the way.
