Lizard Rock

Mountclef Ridge, Lizard Rock & Tarantula Hill

A fun afternoon - started with Tarantula Hill (& Little Tarantula Hill), then onto Wildwood Park - up to Mountclef Ridge - traversed the ridge South to North, then dropped off the high point to explore a large cave. Back to the plateau for Lizard Rock.

    Wildwood Regional Park at 34.219925, -118.903001.

  • Difficulty:

    Easy if just heading to Lizard Rock

  • Aesthetic Rating:

    In the spring or winter it's beautiful. It would be pretty dry and exposed in the summer and fall.

  • Distance:

    1.5 mile round trip if you just do Lizard Rock. If you include with Mountclef Ridge plan on a 3-mile loop.
