Middle Hawkins

I lucked out and there were no road closures leading to Islip Saddle. Started at around 6:15a and only saw 4 people on the way up (one of which was a PCT through hiker). This hike takes you past Little Jimmy Campground to Windy Gap and then up to Middle Hawkins. If you're adventurous/in shape, you can probably hit Mount Hawkins too. (I chose to peak it another day.) Though it had warmed up the past couple of weeks there was still some snow on the ground at 8000'+
