Monument Hill & Mt Rubidoux

Spring hikes of Monument Hill (in Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Preserve) and Mt. Rubidoux in Riverside. Start the hike behind the visitor center on Waterline Rd. Go 0.8 miles to Tenaja Truck Rd, turn left. Go 0.1 miles to Vista Grande Trail, turn right. Go 0.7 miles to Monument Hill road and turn right. Go 0.5 miles to the turn of for Monument. There is no sign for the turn off, but it is easily seen from the road. The summit had two benches and a benchmark.
