Mugu Peak

Mugu Peak in the Santa Monica Mountains

A hike with some serious early elevation change (and some serious views of the Pacific) - perfect for a breezy fall day - I would imagine it would be rough under the summer sun.    Took the "steep" way up the north side of the peak and then looped it off the south side of the summit.  Lots of trash and plastic bottles in the summit registry - disappointing to see. We hiked out all that trash.
