Old Mt Emma

Old Mt. Emma and Peak 5080

A fun winter hike - the intention was to do a loop of Old Mt. Emma, Peak 5080 and Mt. Emma, but we aborted after Peak 5080 due to being unprepared for the snow.  Still a fantastic hike with great views, solitude and some fun snow sections on the ridge between Old Mt. Emma and Peak 5080.  Rather than retrace our steps we left the trail at the saddle between Old Mt. Emma and Peak 5080 and headed cross country alternately following game trails and fun snow sections.
