Pip-squeak Spire

Pip-squeak Spire

While the initial goal was the SPS peak of Mount Dade, a nap at 12k feet was required for yours truly. Climbing partners Jason, Donovan, Arpad, and Andreas proceeded to Mount Dade while I woke up and was determined to get a peak - Pip-squeak Spire. I missed the registry but had gorgeous views and the unique experience of seeing everyone peakbag (and glissade) Mount Dade from Pip-squeak. While the trailhead is from Mosquito Flat, our launch point was Chickenfoot Lake. Rock Creek Packing Station took us, via horseback, to Chickenfoot where we escaped mosquitoes and ate like Kings and Queens. On the way up to Pip Squeak passed a beautiful Gem Lakes (the pic at the bottom of this website.)
