Ramapo Torne

Ramapo Torne

A 7.1 mile loop hike in Harriman State Park in New York. There are ups/downs on this hike (also known as Seven Hills) and several fun scrambles. The 360 views are best when fall foliage is at its peak.
  • Trailhead:

Reeves Meadow Visitor Center off Seven Lakes Drive. Arrive early, parking fills up fast - (41.17379030178532, -74.16862368235302)

  • Difficulty:

Moderate hike that provides a good cardio workout. Mild exposure on the scrambling but nothing that requires anything but taking your time.

  • Aesthetic Rating:

Located in Harriman State Park, this hike does not lack for variety - level trails, scrambling, multiple ups and downs, and great views at several locations. I went in the fall just before peak foliage and it was still a sight to behold.

  • Distance:

    7.1 mile loop

  • Type:

    Dayhike
