Saddleback Butte

Hike up Saddleback Butte in Saddleback Butte State Park

The signed "Saddleback Butte Trail" heads straight for the saddle.   The soft sandy track, marked with yellow posts, leads through Joshua Trees.  After 1.5 miles it begins to switchback up the rocky slope of the butte.  Once at the saddle go left (NE) to the summit.
