Sandstone Peak – with Inspiration Pt., Tri-Peaks, Big Dome and Pop Top

Sandstone, Inspiration, Tri-Peaks, Pop Top, Big Dome in the Santa Monica Mountains

WOW - this is a classic- while all of LA was blanketed by thick fog we hiked above it for a "Sea of Clouds Sunrise" atop Sandstone Peak. Then took the opportunity to grab Inspiration Point, Tri-Peaks (to the true summit, not just the Benchmark), Pop Top and Big Dome. 7.4 miles, started at 6am and back to the car by 11am.
