Skaros Rock on Santorini

Hiking to the summit of Skaros Rock on Santorini

Skaros Rock, on Santorini, has been a fortification since the 13th century - to hike to the top you wind around the oceanside of the rock promontory to a split in the rick, where you need to commit to one Class IV move to reach the summit. Careful to not step into any ruins on the summit.  The whole hike is less than a mile.  There is also a very nice little church to visit on Skaros Rock called Theoskepasti.
