Storm King Mountain

Storm King Mountain in the Appalachian Mountains

Beat the rain by 5 minutes and was able to get stellar views of the Hudson River and Hudson River Valley despite clouds and pending storm. This hike must be fantastic when the weather is good. We hiked in late November when most, if not all, of the foliage was gone. Many of the Hudson River School artists included Storm King in their paintings from different vantages along the Hudson.
