Sullivan Canyon Overlook

Sullivan Canyon Overlook & San Vicente Mountain

A quick family hike to San Vicente Mountain, sight of a former Nike Missile Radar/Control Site in the Santa Monica Mountains, and then onto Sullivan Canyon Overlook. Interesting history during time of the Cold War, when the United States was protecting against Soviet missile attacks.  Spectacular views west into the Santa Monica Mountains and East into the San Fernando Valley.  To get to Sullivan Canyon Overlook use a spur trail off Mulholland Dirt Road.

    Off Mulholland Highway at 17024 Mulholland Drive.

    Easy - mostly fire road until the spur trail for Sullivan Canyon Overlook
