Sunset Peak

Sunset Peak

With an early start I was the first one on the peak with great views to myself (and the lizards). Great trail and in good condition. I took the SE ridge on the way down (which would have been a fun route up and a bit shorter too.) I took this earlier in the season and didn't see rattlesnakes but other hikers who went later in the year spotted several. Keep your ears/eyes open!
